Wilkinson’s newest product line, NaturesPLAstic, is made from NatureWorks™ PLA, the natural alternative to OPS (oriented polystyrene) and PET (polyethylene terphthalate) food packaging. Wilkinson will be exploring all applications of OPS/ PET markets for production of NaturesPLAstic™, the renewable resource-based product line. Some of Wilkinson’s successful brands, DisplayPie™, JustFresh™, PartiPak™ and VersaPak™ are being duplicated using NatureWorks™ PLA. Later additional products will be added to the NaturesPLAstic™ line. All of these new lines will come in various sizes consisting of clear plastic bases and matching lids or domes and are perfect choices for supermarket, deli, produce and bakery markets.
